It was 7:45 A.M. and I was driving on my way to pick my friend up for school. I was right infront of the school and was
stopped at a red light. It went green and I accelerated. The way I drive tho, according to my mom I am way to heavy on the
gas. It was getting too hot in my car so I looked down to turn the heat off and only looked down for one second. During that
one second the cars infront of me stopped and I ran right into the BMW stopped directly infront of me going about 25 m.p.h.
My car had a bad strut, the car jumped straight up on the air and I was thrown forward. Luckily I had my seatbelt on so I
was ok, just a small back ache that went away in a few hours. No one was hurt and the damage to the BMW was minor, however
the damage to my Firebird was devestating. To repair it the cost was over $5000 which exceeded the value of the car according
to my insurance company rendering it "totaled" or unfixable. With that came the end of the Firebird.
